Members of the recently launched Cocoa Producers Co-operative Society Limited met last week to discuss plans for the development of the cocoa industry in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Member of the group, Clive Bish-I Bishop, said that a cocoa festival is among some of the initiatives that will be undertaken by the Co-operative.
He said that the aim is to develop a cocoa industry, which will bring financial benefits to the country.
The co-operative is headed by President, Garvin Seymour and also includes Vice President, St. Clair Cox; Treasurer, Ingrid Punnett; Secretary, Lindy Joanna Cordice; and trustees, Cools Vanloo; Gregory Marshall and Clive Bishop.
