Over seven thousand pounds of Fish were netted on Monday, 16 May by local Fisherfolk as the curtains came down on the 41st Annual Fisherman’s Day Activities.

In his address, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Rural Transformation, Saboto Caesar threw out a challenge for young people to become involved in the Fishing Industry.

Meanwhile, Arnos Vale resident, Andy Mc Millian, Captain of the boat White Cloud is this year’s Fisherman of the year.   Mr. Andy Mc Millan says he is elated to be crowned the winner.
